What is Om (or Aum)?

Om̐ or Aum is of primary importance in Hinduism. This symbol is a sacred syllable representing Brahma, the Absolute impersonal - omnipotent, omnipresent and the source of all manifest existence.
 
This syllable represents the totality of what exists, as well as the Hindu trinity, it is the symbol of the absolute universe. It is considered to be the original, primordial sound, "the whisper of the universe".
 
Connecting to this symbol allows you to put yourself in harmony, in resonance with universal consciousness. In this symbol we also find the 4 elements.
