How to free yourself from inner blockages
Did you read my article on the 3 essential keys to achieve all your projects?
Yes?
That's fine.
The 3 keys that I discuss in this article are essential. But, there is one element that I do not address but that I gladly share with you: it is that of the inner blocks.
It's while I was walking with my family 15 days ago, and seeing exactly that, that I decided to write this new article.
The picture is not very clear but on the left are young people sitting inside a wooden structure. This image reminded me of an invisible cage that we are all inside. And our inner blocks are like invisible walls that prevent us from achieving our projects.
And to be honest, this is exactly what happened to me when I decided to create Mandalashop 6 years ago.
At that time I was employed by a large company, I earned a very good living. I was already very realistic about the working conditions. I saw my colleagues running after recognition, promotion etc. I could see that it was all a sham. I could see that it was all a sham.
We are conditioned by society, our education, our heredity. It is very difficult to get out of this system.
After an overwork I lifted my foot off the gas and took a lot more distance. That helps in life!
Oddly enough, it was around this time that I was inspired to create Mandalashop. And yet, you know what?
While I always had the ability to do this, it took me a year to start taking the first steps.
Yes, a year.
It takes a long time.
Why is it complicated to get started?
Because getting into the material is much more complicated than it seems. It is always very simple to project yourself, to make plans on the comet as we say.
But as soon as it comes to being concrete, it becomes much less simple.
What is really blocking us?
I have identified 3 main blocking points:
1) Our beliefs
2) Fear
3) Lack of confidence
Our beliefs
Beliefs and concepts have a hard life! And they limit our potential. They are what we can also call mental blocks.
What is a belief? Wikipedia gives the following definition: "Belief is the mental process experienced by a person who adheres to a thesis or hypothesis, so that he or she considers it to be true, regardless of the facts, or lack of facts, confirming or refuting that thesis or hypothesis. Thus, beliefs are often certainties without evidence.”
A limiting belief is a view of our mind that makes us believe that we are not able to do certain things. It most often comes from our education or our past experiences (especially our failures). These are what we can also call mental blocks.
These false beliefs are toxic because they limit our potential. They also have a perverse effect: the stronger we believe in them, the more we will try to find evidence to justify them. On the contrary, overcoming them gives us the opportunity to express the best of ourselves.
How to fight your limiting beliefs?
The American author Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882) said: "People only see what they are prepared to see".
This phrase can be compared to the principle of the Law of Attraction.
Fighting your limiting beliefs is sometimes a difficult exercise because it requires enough openness to sincerely question yourself. It is sometimes easier to find external causes for our limitations ("I'm not talented", "I'm not smart enough", "I'm not creative", etc.) than to look inside ourselves.
So, concretely, how do we do it?
Positive affirmations and creative visualization are known techniques to overcome limiting beliefs. This is the principle of the famous "Coué Method": a sentence that you repeat to yourself over and over again in order to embed it in your subconscious and integrate it as an absolute truth. Or you create new images in your imagination.
In the same way you can focus repeatedly on a mandala and the corresponding virtue in order to invigorate it within you. The harmonizing disc is really suitable for this because you can take it with you everywhere. You can also work with a canvas hanging on the wall or in front of you (and the larger the print on a mandala the more it radiates and transforms all the energies in the room).
The idea is to "reprogram" yourself to bury the negative belief, make it lose all credibility.
It is said that it takes about 21 days to create a new habit. You can also do it over 40 days or more.
And most importantly, you have to believe it! If you do it without conviction and hope that things will "magically" change, it will have much less impact
You can also "act as if". This technique involves acting as if. It is quite similar to positive affirmations, but instead of using your thoughts and words you use your actions.
Let us imagine that you lack confidence in yourself. You must then act as a person brimming with confidence. Walk with confidence, head up and shoulders back. Imitate the people you think are role models and create new attitudes.
This is where all the symbols of sacred geometry come in, because they allow you to reconnect to the living, to the essential.
And so you can vivify certain virtues within you, by focusing on a mandala and making it live within you.
I sincerely think that a virtue like Letting Go is an essential Mandala, but also others like Trust, Renouncing everything that makes us suffer etc.
Fear
It is often easier to stay in your comfort zone. We are all in the same situation
We are afraid to launch ourselves, afraid of doing the wrong thing, afraid of how others will look at us, afraid of tomorrow, afraid of giving up on certain things, etc.
It's up to you to identify your fears. What fears block your projects?
When we have identified our blocks, it is already a good part of the work that is done.
Don't be afraid of failure, it's even great if you fail a few times at first, as long as you keep telling yourself that you're going to keep trying to overcome your fear. It's not the failure that crushes our confidence, but the inability to get back on track, that's what makes us less confident.
Getting out of your comfort zone helps you learn new things (about yourself in particular), acquire new skills and take on new challenges, which gives you direct confidence. You'll feel like you can do and accomplish anything, no matter what the conditions.
Sometimes all it takes is one little click to get past certain fears.
It's often also useful to be well surrounded. It allows you to be in a new dynamic, to feel supported. Together we are stronger and we go further.
Finally, repeat out loud:
"I replace fear with confidence in life"
The lack of self-confidence
Somehow the lack of confidence goes hand in hand with this fear phenomenon.
What is the difference between a confident person and a person who is not confident? Confident people face their fears and overcome any obstacles in life that come their way, that's all.
When you are confident, you tend to take life on a positive note, no matter how things are going in your life, you see the glass as half full.
Everyone has certain fears and we all face obstacles, but the secret to success is being able to move past them and achieve our goals. Lack of confidence can prevent you from reaching your dreams and achieving your goals.
In the previous article, I gave you some tips to help you work on confidence.
So go for it!
Choice is the key
Making conscious and assumed choices allows you to free yourself.
And sometimes, not having a choice is also very liberating.
That's what happened to me.
When my daughter was born, I took a year of parental leave. I already knew that I would not return to my job. And since I want to accompany my daughter in a certain way, for me this choice was stronger than anything else. It left no room for doubt, fear of tomorrow, of not earning as much money etc.
And thanks to my daughter, I gave up my salaried job and devoted myself 100% to Mandalashop.
And I can tell you that I have never regretted this choice.
If I share this personal experience with you, it is because it is not so personal. We are all the same, we are all walking on the same path.
The only difference is that some will go faster than others, some will encounter bumps in the road, some will encounter mountains, some will encounter ravines and what have you...?
So what are your choices?
You can decide to stay in your comfort zone, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Or you can decide to go on an adventure. And often what we encounter goes far beyond our expectations. If we don't try, if we don't experiment, we can't know.
I have found some positive affirmations on the internet to help you:
- I affirm here and now that I am ready for change within me
- I affirm here and now that I am free and liberated from the wounds of the past.
- I affirm here and now that I am free and liberated from the wounds of the past. I thank and forgive myself for the experiences I have had
- I affirm here and now that the wounds of the past are healed
- I ask here and now that change and healing take place within me.
To your success!
