What is Yin Yang?
The Yin Yang symbol is also known as Taï Chi, The Ultimate Supreme or the Great Art. This symbol represents the two fundamental principles of Chinese philosophy. Complementary, they represent the two extremes of a whole and coexist together.
The outer circle represents the "all", that is to say the universe and all that it contains. It contains the duality of everything that exists, harmony and balance within the universe.
The black and white shapes in the circle represent the interaction of two opposite energies, called "Yin" (black) and "Yang" (white). Combined, these forces are at the root of everything that happens in our world. The “S” shape of the black and white sections symbolises the continuous movement of these two energies.
Connecting to this symbol allows you to find harmony and balance.
