Sacred feminine: keys to your inner power
The sacred feminine emerges as a profound quest within contemporary spiritualities, highlighting the feminine essence through a rich prism of rituals and practices. At the heart of this exploration is self-confidence, nourished by intuition and connection to the menstrual cycle, considered a great book of feminine wisdom. Women embrace practices such as Yin yoga to cultivate feminine energy and find peace in solitude. Words become tools of power, used in sacred recipes and blessings from the womb. The mental load inherent in daily life is confronted in a quest for meaning, guided by moonstones and ancient witches' rituals. Thus, the sacred feminine flourishes in a delicate balance of energy, wisdom and spiritual connection, providing a haven for personal and collective growth.
And yet, it's time to dust off the overused notion of the sacred feminine. Often associated with feminine energy, intuition, personal development, the menstrual cycle or self-confidence, you'll see from this article that the notion of the sacred feminine belongs to long-forgotten ancestral wisdom.
We all have a feminine side, men and women alike. So, if you're a man, this article is for you too!
The sacred feminine: definition
The notion of the sacred feminine, as it is usually presented, while often based on ancient religions, has its roots in certain very recent American neo-pagan movements, such as Wicca.
The sacred feminine is presented as work "to reconnect body and spirit". It is often "taught" at women's workshops, where ritual and esotericism are given pride of place.
In reality, the sacred feminine has existed since the dawn of time.
Over the ages, the Mother of the world has taken many forms and appearances, manifesting herself through her daughters, and of all of them, the great Mother Isis is the most perfect.
Isis embodied the sacred feminine in all its glory, and Pharaonic Egypt was one of the most powerful civilizations in recorded history. This civilization was not afraid to have women as pharaohs and high priestesses.
In Egypt, the woman was not dependent on the man, she had her own ray, her own source of inspiration, her own mission and she stood in cooperation with the man's ray. Thus, the two rays were complementary, and it was this harmonious union, this respect, this intelligence that consecrated the beauty of Egypt.
The daughters of Isis played a fundamental role in the construction of Egyptian civilization. They can and must play this role again today. Isis was a magician and a mother. She knew the deep secrets of motherhood. She became Mother of all men, the great Mother Isis, Mother of all initiates.
Isis, Goddess of the sacred feminine
The Mother is the divine creative principle that complements the Father, the hidden Intelligence behind all manifestations of life, such as stones, trees and animals.
Isis is the sacred feminine incarnate, the Mother of the World who became flesh. It's the eternal idea of the mother who places her child above her own life.
No man can go to the Father without passing through Isis, the Mother.
After being murdered by his brother Set, the Egyptian king Osiris was resurrected by his wife Isis, who had refused fate and nothingness. This legend is the major reference for initiation into the divine Mysteries of Isis and Osiris.
Isis is the God-Woman who, in glorious Egyptian times, embodied the feminine principle to perfection. She thus became the living symbol of the Woman in all women, the Mother of the World.
Isis shone on earth with her light.
She alone remained faithful to Osiris and, through him, to the eternal Father. She brought Light to the world and gave it to mankind in the form of Horus, the Son of Light. All the sons of the Sun, the great Masters of mankind, came into being thanks to the presence of daughters of Isis.
This historical teaching contains a divine science, the secrets of the birth of Light.
What is femininity?
Femininity is greater than the body, it is a being in its own right, a being much greater than a woman. And every woman represents all women, all the femininity of the world.
If we look at femininity in a woman, that is, at the side of God the Mother (divinity), we can see something that leads us to wisdom. If we look at a tree, a stone, an animal, a mountain, a river, something that speaks to us, we'll approach the woman and be able to get answers to all existential questions.
These answers are hidden inside Isis, the woman who sits on the ground and carries on her head the throne of heaven, i.e. the children to be brought into the world, not on the physical plane but in the subtle worlds.
A child is a mystery, the mystery of a being who carries another being just as the earth carries us in its womb. We are in an amniotic fluid, surrounded by the forces of the earth that nourish us, just as the mother's forces nourish the child.
Magic happens in the body of the mother who carries a child. Her body nourishes another body. And when this body emerges from her, it awakens in the world, carrying with it thoughts, feelings and a destiny.
It's the same for us: we carry within us thoughts, feelings and a will that we bring into the world.
This vision of the woman who seeks to bring children into the world is the vision of self-giving love. But in order to give, we must first receive, and women are great precisely because they can receive love.
Receiving love is the most difficult thing in the world. In love, it's easier to give than to receive, because it requires emptiness, i.e. accepting to be weak, to have less strength.
A woman seeks to keep love, gentleness, to defend these strengths, and when her child goes out into the world, she wants to give him all her love, but she doesn't know how. In the same way, today we don't know how to protect the earth, our Mother.
But the way we look at the earth, we look at women. Let's approach the earth in a completely different way, and the earth will love us and take care of us. This is what Isis tells us.
The power of the sacred feminine in spirituality
Women need to awaken to this awareness and rediscover the wisdom they have in their bodies, the knowledge of forming a cup, of being empty, of turning upwards to receive a seed.
You are constantly crossed by seeds, you are impregnated and you live according to the seed within you. When you look at a billboard, when you listen to music, when you chat with another person, a seed enters you.
Your thought is a seed of a being that lives within you, and if you speak in that thought, you bring a child into the world. This is not a concept, it's not something abstract, but something real when you awaken.
We must seek out the seed of seeds, the divine seed, in order to bring children of the Light into the world.
To recover this ancient knowledge, we must begin by learning to sit on the ground and, like Isis, to wear something on our head, i.e. to be responsible for ourselves.
We must take our lives into our own hands and enter into reality.
We mustn't waste our time on things that have no point and don't work, because then how can we know the truth? Truth is what works, because it's life. Life is what is real. Your thoughts, your feelings, your will are real and they are your value, your dignity.
Today all this is degraded and leads downwards.
Your dignity is in your thoughts, in your feelings, in your awakened consciousness. It's in your knowledge, the throne you wear on your head. It's in the wisdom and strengths you can radiate in all simplicity, in the harmony and peace of your home.
These mysteries about sitting on the ground and wearing a throne were taught in the Isis Mystery Schools. As was the case thousands of years ago, anyone seeking to awaken his or her consciousness must focus on them.
Women intrinsically know these secrets, and they need to find them.
The power of the feminine among the Celts
Closer to home, the Celts.
The Celts were very respectful of women. They had a strong sense of femininity. Women could become druids and hold the highest offices, as they were recognized as the organizing force of the earth, the nurturing force, the source of wealth.
Women's place in Celtic society was exceptionally advanced for their time. They could lead tribes, take part in political life, be warriors and druids, bards and healers.
These people were much more curious and open-minded than we are, because they didn't have the narrow view of the world we've developed over the centuries.
The Mother Goddess embodied the Celtic country. She was the principal divinity, revered as the mother of all things. Without her, life would not exist. She is a triple deity, representing the three essential stages of a woman's life: Brigid the virgin, Modron the mother, and the wise old woman.
These three aspects of the Mother Goddess are not necessarily independent. They represent the overall course of life, from beginning to end, the process of change, growth and development, of learning, maturing and passing on what has been learned.
They therefore serve as guides for everyone, whatever their lifestyle.
She is often illustrated as three identical women, accompanied by an infant, fruit and bread, symbols of her fertility. The various aspects of the mother are interchangeable, according to the different cults dedicated to her through the ages.
The triple spiral of the Triskel symbolizes the threefold nature of the Mother Goddess. Although separate, these three spirals are interconnected.
The secrets of harmony between the feminine and the sacred masculine
Man cannot come to earth if he doesn't have the feminine side: the earth is open, patient, loving, gentle, ready to give everything. She is alive with the powerful sun that lives in her heart. She is the Mother who takes care of everything in the hidden, the invisible.
For man and woman to be in harmony, the latter must be able to take the fire inside the home, to the woman, otherwise this fire (the principle of fire) becomes fury within him, and the man becomes passive in relation to his masculine nature.
Dark forces can then arise and fecundate, bringing war and strife everywhere. This is the disharmony that sets in: the metallic, robotic, instinctive aspect, the precursor of a future of unconsciousness for all men.
If a woman doesn't welcome the power that man brings, if she wants to be herself in power and control, everything begins to crumble, as cosmic laws are broken.
These are the secrets: on the outside, man must be in creative power, and on the inside, he must have an open and broad consciousness, he must be in the Light and bring this Light to earth.
Then the woman becomes alive with the seed brought by man, she comes alive from within, she builds a body and brings it into the world. This body she gives birth to is the future.
By wanting to be like man, woman has lost the awareness that she is the one who can create the future. Man is incapable of creating a body, he is incapable of creating a civilization, he can only bring the seeds. Isn't that what the earth does: takes the seeds and brings them into the world?
Even if this worldview is frowned upon today, or may seem outdated, it's a fundamental secret that women need to understand: it's the disharmony created when man and woman are no longer in their place in the cosmic order that causes everything to deteriorate and everyone to be unhappy. Not only humans, but also animals, plants, minerals and nature spirits, who become increasingly angry at seeing everything being trashed.
Theman must be in a state of openness on the inside and powerful like fire on the outside, dynamic, creative.
The woman must be gentle, peaceful, open, calm on the outside and powerful like fire on the inside, in the invisible worlds, generating worlds and worlds.
Then everything is in order, everything is perfect, in accordance with the laws of the universe.
Understand that today everything is done so that we no longer know what a man is, what a woman is. That's what gender theory is all about. And if you look closely, this kind of theory is increasingly spread in the media, so that we get used to it and it becomes something normal, part of the norm.
In gender theory, the term "gender" refers to masculinity or femininity constructed by the social and cultural environment (language, education, proposed models...). Gender does not depend on biological sex: it is subjective (it depends on each individual's self-perception).
Gender theory thus underestimates the biological reality of the human being. As a reductionist, it overemphasizes the socio-cultural construction of sexual identity, which it contrasts with nature.
Human beings would not have to stick to their own sexual reality. Sexual identity would not be objective, but subjective: sexual orientation - freely chosen - would characterize the individual.
We're a long way from the wisdom of Isis. If women are degraded, chaos ensues.
The mission of women
Peter Deunov has addressed this very subject in his book " A new consciousness for women: the secret revealed ".
"What is the mission of women? To uplift themselves first, and then to uplift man's soul. The good and beautiful woman is an Ideal for man. She inspires him towards the sublime, forces him to think and, at the same time, brings calm and peace to his soul.
My wish for women is that they become mothers filled with God's love. That they may fulfill their mission: that they may blossom, that they may carry this fragrance within themselves and spread the nobility of their Love all over the Earth.
Let's make it sothat women can dwell in Love, and let men carry authority for women. As women, you should wish to bear the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, resistance to suffering, peace, grace, temperance and benevolence. It isin these fruits that true service to God lies.
Is there a sweeter fruit than Love? Woman represents the Spirit, and can only be loved if she bears Love within herself.
Woman is the symbol of Love."
He adds:
"For eight thousand years, man and woman have been so far removed from their essential and true nature, they are so far from it now, that woman is no longer a woman, and man no longer a man. If you could compare today's man or woman with the original prototype, would you see it as a ridiculous caricature?
What is to be found in the female form? All virtues, all sublime ideas and emotions must be present in the female form. Woman is the bearer of all that is most sublime in the world, that tenderness forever present and preserved within her."
How to awaken and work with your sacred feminine?
Knowing yourself is the true key to all knowledge.
The first basic state to cultivate in order to connect with your sacred feminine is calm and peace.
To find peace within oneself, one must harmonize all one's activities with the laws of cosmic intelligence. Cosmic intelligence is one with the consciousness of the World Mother.
When you prepare to meditate, to enter into communion with the World Mother, withdraw from the noise, agitation and irritation of the world.
Offer your body a moment of calm, of relaxation. Let your thoughts and inner turmoil settle into calm.
Enter into an atmosphere of silence, harmony, well-being and peace.
Let lofty thoughts, noble feelings and majestic ideals come to you and radiate them within and around you.
Rest on Mother Nature. Perceive how she lives in you and in all beings as the sacred foundation of all life, of all that rests on her.
You too, rest on her and strive to reflect her in purity.
Become the mirror in which feminine consciousness looks at itself, and contemplate its beauty, its perfection, its divinity. This mirror must be totally smooth, without any ripples or prejudices.
Develop a new way of looking at things.
I'm aware that this is almost impossible today, because the world has locked everything up in concepts, and everything is set up to cut you off from yourself. If you're cut off from yourself, how do you plan to connect with your sacred feminine?
I think you have to start by asking yourself the right questions before you start reconnecting. Otherwise, you run the risk of harboring illusions.
To reconnect with yourself, there's nothing like connecting with living nature.
Connect to your sacred feminine with sacred geometry symbols
You can also use tools such as sacred geometry symbols. They'll help you find the center of everything.
You can wear them on your person or let them radiate into your space, and they'll work naturally. But they are such wonderful tools for awakening and working on yourself that it would be a shame not to use them for this purpose.
Start by fixing a printed canvas or a harmonizing disc, for example, and let the symbol speak to your soul, to your heart. Don't put any intention into it. Make contact with the energy of your chosen symbol.
The Mother, the feminine principle, emanates gentleness, humility, depth, serene strength, calm, stability and goodness. You can work on these virtues or on the symbol of the Mother Goddess or Triple Goddess of the Moon.
Listen to your feelings.
Renew your dialogue with the earth
Today, humans no longer live with nature, but increasingly with technology. Technology plays an ever greater role in our lives, and is a source of wonder and capture for individuals.
Men and women have forgotten the magic of a flower or a tree, and the influence that nature can exert on them.
Nature is dying out. This is not due to nature itself, but to the fact that mankind no longer brings it life, intelligence, wisdom and enthusiasm.
Make a conscious connection, a loving, wise, living and magical relationship with the earth that bears you.
The earth suffers from the ignorance of men and women towards it. The earth suffers from indifference, disrespect and inattention towards trees, flowers, crops, vegetation, animals, landscapes, places and rocks.
The earth wants to feel the glances, the link and the attention.
The earth loves men and women and aspires to elevate them, to support them in their spiritual ascent. But for this to happen, men and women must recreate the link, find the path to unite with her, maintain the dialogue of respect and love.
Don't be indifferent when you pass by a tree or a spring, or even when you meet an animal.
Lie down regularly on the earth. Get in touch with it.
A final word
Reconnecting with the sacred feminine means rediscovering the science of man's harmony with the earth and the cosmos.
This is the science that Isis wants to give us, the science of the women, the midwives of the Middle Ages, who were able to heal beings through the secret of plants, colors, animals and incantations - in other words, true health, true medicine, the medicine of uniting man with the Divine, with the Great Mother.
We must develop this science of harmony: harmony in our homes, in our actions, in our words, in our thoughts, in the colors that emanate from us, in the knowledge of plants, stones, stars, music.
Isis united with the Mother as no other woman had done. She was truly the Mother of the world in an incarnate woman. This makes her the most divine woman who has ever lived on earth.
Today, women can no longer receive this wisdom because they are caught up in their own preoccupations. They have no awareness of the earth beneath their feet, and have forgotten that they are daughters of the earth.
The earth speaks to them of a loving mother within them, of the secrets of the woman who must bear all beings.
Peter Deunov said: "In my opinion, woman is the one who will save the world; woman is the one who holds the key to life in her hands; woman is the one through whom the great and powerful impulse of Love can manifest itself and give us life.
Woman is the symbol of Love."
A mother gives birth to a world with a destiny, a scripture. We all, men and women alike, have a feminine aspect, for we capture seeds, regenerative forces. We elaborate them within ourselves and then bring them into the world through words, looks and deeds.
So we each have a great responsibility.
